Morgan is still racing but....

Shin Splints really? Her legs hurt but she is still running. Below I got to fill in for the regular coaches that couldn't make it to this meet.

Morgan second meet of the season

Morgan running at her second meet of the season. They have her run the 100m, 200m, 400m, 1 mile and 4x4 relay. This year they won't have her run the 800m or the 2mile, but next year they probably will. It was a cold meet, but Morgan did earn her team 40 points winning the mile, 200m, 400m and 4x4 relay.

I know it has been forever since I blogged. Things are good. We are settled in our new house in American Fork. Brit has been playing baseball and in several tournaments over the past few months. Brit is getting to know kids in his new scout troup and a few weekends ago went to Moab and did rappeling with them. Below is Brit at the March Madness Tournament in St. George leading off first base.

Morgan just started the outdoor track season. It has been just over a year since her first episode with mono. She took cross country and indoor track seasons off completely. She ran her first mile yesterday since being sick. We hope she is able to come back completely and doesn't get mono again. Morgan is keeping so busy with running, school, friends and dating. Below are a few pictures my mom took at Morgan's race. She is wearing the long socks that are supposed to make you five percent faster. Her teammates thought that they were cool so I believe for the next meet you might see several girls with the long socks.

Last weekend the boys' cross country team was interviewed by ESPN-RISE. They posted a video of Saturday's meet at American Fork. You will get a kick out of it. Morgan is in the beginning clip running in the red AF jersey.
